a trimmer told me to use sunlight soap and warm water [ as biam has already said ] on my tounea cover with a soft brush to clean it and keep it soft , seemed to work and made the cover stay looking like new

a little sugar soap in warm water.
then treat the vinyl to some protection / leather food.

i once soaked a distributer waterproofing boot in amour all for 2 years as it was rock hard but complete. when it came out it was literally like new.
