potentially twincam turbo,
but what if you dropped the extra cost of the twincam build on improving power output or driveability of a bigbore 5 port turbo?

supercharged cars would probably be quicker on a touge and on tighter circuits

how would a stroker compare on a hillclimb or 1/4 mile?

is there a limit to useable horsepower and does it becomes better not to carry the parasitic drain of boost through weight and or crankshaft?

can heat soak become an issue with boosted engines?

what is the best engine to build for outright performance whatever field you are aiming for?

this is not a yellow khana or "how fast" thread

A supercharger or turbo cannot produce power by magic - they are only one method used utilise the potential of an engine design. Frequently they magnifiy the limitations of an engine design.

Decent breathing can achieve the same useable power outputs as either a super or turbo charger.

All means of producing more power have a price, drivability or longevity or performance envelope etc can all suffer.

If you want the magic answer get yourself an engineering degree and then realise the limitations of your questions.

whats your idea then?

if there was an ultimate solution we'd all be driving it, but everyone seems to have something different and a different take on it.

For someone with a victim complex, you seem quite content to continue trolling the forum.

some people have self confidence and dont suffer from your obvious self doubt - I dont give a toss if my car is fast or slow and I certainly dont view my self worth based on the performance of my car.

why dont you tell me how i feel

if people didnt care about making their car better, they wouldnt come on an online forum to talk about it.

seeing as how you dont care, theres no reason for you to post seeing as how you would only post something negative and probably nasty.

oh wait you already did.

Indicated H.P = P.L.A.N. there is the formula now work it out.

AIR = HORSEPOWER!!!!!!!!
The basic requirement is air. You can have as much fuel, revs etc as you want, but without AIR it means didley squat.
As for blown engs when you start putting 2-3 atmospheres in to it ,then you start getting power.
16 valve blowen to 45psi you will get big H.P and a big bang.
