Thanks Doc - any ideas on how much out at say 60, 80, 100 kph?

Even at 100 kph you are only looking at being out by 3.2 kmh! With other inaccuracies and the way most speedo needles wobble about, that really isn't an issue.

Years ago when we lived in Torquay Vic there was a speedo check across the Geelong road and gave you a readout of your actual speed vs speedo - You sat on exactly 100kph per your speedo between two lines on the road and a digital readout gave the true speed. We had two cars one registered 2kph under (Lazer) and one 5kph over (Fairmont) :? I have checked the current Avalon with the GPS and at 110kph per GPS the speedo reads 108kph yet at 100kph it is spot on :?

So what I'm saying is a little bit of variation appears to be the norm :roll:
