thanks for your help guys.

i will try all these things.

they look like they can fit but as i said it seems to be touching the bulkhead but i will play around when i am back from Sydney.

i have a set and taking them off the old mini was a job and a half. i found the easiest way was to fit them was to take the y piece off the manifold and a fit it onto the exhaust pipe then fit the extractors from underneath the car and get someone to pull them up for you. try it without the middle pipe first.
