It was my mini van... well I think it was... When they came to collect it, they said it was for top gear, but I didnt believe them... if it was a red clubman van, then its one in the same.

And if it is that van, you will be even more angry to know that it was a 2 owner van, had only travelled 70 odd thousand miles, was original down to engine and stickers in the engine bay and only needed carpet, seats, door cards and new rubbers for the back windows and it would have passed for historic registration. There are pics somewhere on here in the gallery section....

when I first read it though, I wasnt sure if that meant windowless as in solid sides or windowless as in they were smashed out. I so hope it wasnt Scarlet. She was a great little van... I just didnt have the room for her.

At least in UK top gear they destroy cars that nearly everyone hates, nobody hates Minis.

Sorry... I didnt mean to be pedantic, but its always horrible to think that a mini you sold hoping that it will be loved and cherished by a new owner has been hacked to death by some dim wit on a second rate rubbish show (yes I rate it LOWER than The Biggest Loser and we all know how bad that show is)

Long live UK Top Gear and long live Minis...

Take it as a compliment - they are selecting vehicles based on the audience they are wishing to appeal to - us.

They dont see it as hacking a vehicle that we appreciate - they expect us to see it as we should glad that recognise a mini as part of Australias automotive culture.

Thats what happens when you get a car show produced by non car people with content deisgned by focus groups

It's evidence that those d1cks don't know much about cars.

Stupid f***n stunts.

Do they expect to prove something?
