Hey jess,

Did you just spray your one colour?? Cos i was thinking of black and chrome but maybe it would be easier to just go one colour?? Thoughts??

your grill will be shiny already as they are aluminium (i think). I sprayed mine in 3 pieces, standard S style (2 bars & headlight surround bit left as bare metal, the rest painted) with just gloss black spray paint. I haven't had any adhesion issues but it was only about 12 months ago. Just make sure you clean it properly before you spray it. I noticed afterwards I missed a few bits because I wasn't sure where the colour should go up to so will be spraying it again soon :)

I painted mine in 3 pieces. I masked the top and bottom rails and around the headlight surrounds, sprayed it all then to make it correct as an S grill, like Jess', i wiped the other shiney bits with a rag and thinners to expose the aluminium.
