Usually people are content to use crimp two wires in each connector and piggy back one to the next.

When wiring looms for control boxes, I was always taught that "if it looks good, then it probably is". The idea being that nice aesthetic curves always prevent vibrational damage, and don't place strain on the connectors. Yours do look good Gafmo. Very bling.

Thanks for that Mick..I'm sertanly no Lecky but working out the wiring for the van is getting me just that little step closer. The idea of piggy backing normal spade connection was something I wanted to avoid and never liked the look of. As this is going to the fuse box and 5 points it had to be neet and also last.. Time will tell on this last one but I know the soldering has penetrated all the way through

I know what you mean about piggybacking, its purely functional. I like your method even though it must have taken ages!

Hey I don't mean to pick on your soldering, but you've gotta clean the metal, heat the job not the wire, and makes sure the solder runs cleanly. It looks like those might give you some grief yet through cracking and hot joints. Just check them closely, the headlights run a fair whack of current when they are running.

not realy all that long 1/2 hour at best most time was spent cutting back the join area's on the main wire and waiting for the joins to cool before adding the first layer of heat shrink which when your adding the next wire it shrinks hehe from the heat

Here you go Finished neat and tidy. I have to shorten then a little to be even, just have to get the nice splad that have the covers over the whole lot which will be used on all connection. Up the other end will be the coil and Ignition connection which will be a bullet connection or hard wired not sure at the moment
