The rear looks like it's mounted to the factory mounts.


Probably not enough weight in the back to be a concern, yeah?

There is a plate on the pipe, welded on at the seat back angle. There are 4 or 6 bolts through the existing cover attachment holes in the seat back.

To whomever asked on the previous page, yes- you put the pipe through, bolt it in then lift each end in turn. It's pretty light with nothing in the shell.

Hint.. don't make the pipe too short.... :wink:

i built one for my LS 1275 no hole in the firewall.so basicly had to mock up a bar to replace the bonnet catch panel and hold her there,rear was in the boot across subframe mounts.i have basic drawings but unable to post at the moment. if anyone is interested in these let me know.
