i just don't know how to get the pin out of the rod Change & i cant seem to pull the extractors of the exhaust.

apart from that it is all undone ready to pull out.

if anyone cant help me i can hire one it's not biggy lads :)

I just happen to have an engine crane here (& chain to sling the engine with) at the moment on loan from a friend. i'm busy today but may be able to help you tomorrow.

With the pin for the selector you need an approriately sized pin punch ( I use a 4mm allen key that i had lying around) and a bfh to get it out usually. also with the exhaust undo the engine mount bolts and slide the engime forward in the bay to give extra clearance.

Also are you going to strip the engine at all? If so do you have 1 1/2" & 1 5/16" sockets and a clutch puller?

Put the car ito reverse to drift out the roll pin on the rod change collar.

Putting the car into reverse presents the pin into an easy position to drift it.

Nav.

No engine stripping richard KIng is going to do that for me. needs a looking inside. just a simple pull out.

All i need to do is pull the engine out & load it on the Ute.

everything is striped ready to rock just sitting on the mounts at the moment, not sure how to pop that Pin out & pulling the extractors of ( all undone though loose.

i would think that would take 5 to 10mins max.

if you could help me out that would be great would be an hour of your day :)

tah Nick.

I'm in Murrumba downs so only 10 minutes away. it'll take longer to setup the hoist than it will to lift it out

Pm me your address and what time you'll need me there to help out. and i'll let you know if I can't make it
