Hard to scan due to newspaper size, but they normally publish them on their website a few days later although it takes some searching to find them. Try searching the carsguide section of the daily telegraph.

I would just like to say that the errors in the story are not my doing. :D

Cheers,
Watto.
unfortunately there are quite a few of them ... They were a bmc approved model and sold as such , with warranty . They were only sold as complete car's , the conversion kits were badged differently .

We may have crossed lines here.

I was talking about the story in the Herald Sun Cars Guide, on the 50th anniversary of the Mini, and in which I am quoted a fair bit (some of it a bit erroneously) and there are plenty of old myths regurgitated.

There is no mention of the Sports 850.

I guess the story in the Tele is different.

Who wrote it? The story in the Herald Sun was written by Neil McDonald.

Cheers,
Watto.

OK Watto , definitely a different story , this one is just about the sports850 and claims "Australia's frist limited-edition sports model is a mini and it's very existence is shrouded in mystery " . Was written by David Fitzsimons .

Oh yeah , besides what I mentioned above it's a great article and good promotions for sports850's . Good photo's too .
