When I opened it up in Cinema 4D (A bit like Maya), the various components were split up anyway, with basic textures applied. I just grabbed the shell and floorplan and pasted it into the model I had of my rotisserie. It might depend on the ability of your software to convert a DXF file correctly. I'm not sure if any of the formats I could convert it to would work better for your software. I could save it as a 3DS file if that works for you.
