A long bit of bar with a plate welded on one end and a wheelnut on the other, the sliding weight is an old M1100 balancer.

i had access to one at school.

I think it was an Ausmini'er who got a stuck hub (drive flange) off with a length of chain and a sledgehammer.. each end of the chain bolted to a wheel stud, then a couple of good belts on the chain with the sledgehammer.

That was me :) Worked great considering the inner race of the outer wheel bearing was rusted onto the flange. It saved me from undoing brake hoses and having to re-bleed the brakes etc
