Like with a tow truck or one of those gypsy trailers, it lifts the front wheels so only the fixed wheels are still on the ground. This way it acts like a semi pulling a trailer. When you turn with something like this, doesnt the 4 wheels of the towed car being on the ground affect the ability of the towing car to turn?

In NSW the A frame has to be engineered to the towing and towed vehicles. Both vehicles have to be registered.

As long as the A-frame is ridged, the towed car follows the lead car just like a trailer.
....but as for reversing....that can be a bit tricky :wink:

I found it wasnt so bad the last time i did it as long as the car being towed was in reverse as well as the car towing
