I think.... even if you are only in possession of car keys you can be tested and fined for over the limit. Since having the keys you have the intention to drive. Never heard of it happening but I think it's the law.

In NSW this is true, my dad got done for DUI getting his sleeping bag out of the boot. He was going to sleep it off next to the car but having the key on him made him in control of the vehicle.
Cheers Pete

That would suck if you got a cab to the pub, got pissed, and you keep your car and house keys on the same key ring. MY CAR IS AT HOME OFFICER

Re : repairers in rAdelaide, Casanova Crash in Norwood. They do a lot of classic prestige cars and are preferred by Subaru

That doesn't look so bad, now that you've got the photos up.
A decent panel shop should be able to straighten that without replacing it.

yeh its easily fixable, glad they didnt hit the wheel arch, or the window, or the taillight. He hit right in the middle of all of them and he was slowly rolling back at the time.

So its not a hit, its a touch and then push in. But the seem is buckled near the taillight and the bulge near the rear taillight is slightly out of shape.

Looks similar to a prang I had once in my car, although not as bad. I hope it's not as bad, my whole rear quarter had to be cut out and replaced, the steel stretched too badly to be repaired :(

Yours will probably be OK, mine was pushed in far enough to encroach on the rear wheel arch preventing it being driven. Find a good (i.e. real) panelbeater and not just a panelreplacer and you'll be right ;)

took it to MJ Doyles in Edwardston/town for a quote, see what happens today.

i reckon they are up for at least 3000 bux, given that they have taken the seem and bent the arch at the top where it goes flat, i stressed to the guy that i wanted to see it before paint to make sure there was no filler or bog being used.
