That IMM Dash is very nice... :) I can't remember where I saw it, but I also saw a standard BINI dash in a Mini, and it looked good, too. :) But my favourite is the Inno look... 8)

And on the Inno look... DTrain - why the extra full-sized gauge? I picked it up first time too, realized what you'd done, but I don't have the 'Why'. Why? :?

But even using Clubby gauges... :? You have to think of what you're going to use them for. As in, what are the side gauges on an Inno 1300 Export format dash (I'm open to correction, but the dash you've modified is a 1300 Export - the other ones didn't have as many gauges) going to be used for? The one to the right on the Inno dash is fuel (benzene). To the left, you've got, well... Hard to see. But I think Oil, Amps (which I'm guessing you'd change to Volts if you were doing it at home, to reduce the risks created by an Amp meter) and Temp. Whichever Mini gauge set you use (i.e. Clubby or Roundy), the Fuel gauge is in one of the big circles. if you use Clubby gauges, I think the Temp is also in one of the round gauges (haven't played with many Clubby gauges). So that means that one, or, using Clubby gauges, two of your smaller (2") gauges are already... Hard to fill. Unless you want to add oil temp, manifold vacuum (or boost  )... :?

My car needs a proper dash put in it. One day, when i get around to it, my plan is a variation of the Inno 1300 Export dash... They just look so good. And different. 8) I think one of the MOCQ guys (might've been Tony/Convertible Mini) had a set of Jaegar gauges available recently, which had been put aside for a project Mini dash... I saw them and instantly thought, "Innocenti!!!" But couldn't grab them. They might still be available?

Inno Cooper 1300 got the 6 gauge dash, the Innocenti Cooper (998, twin HS2, 55-60hp) got a 5 gauge dash (minus amp meter). Whereas the Cooper Mk1 got a 'std' centre binacle, they started at some point with the typical 5 gauge moulded dash (Mk 1 1/2) on change over to the MkII.

The Cooper models seem to be mostly unknown. And I think they never hit the export market (like the 1001 & 1300 models), maybe that's why.

im a sucker for rover gauges as there arent as many cars with them out here.. im kind of over the centre speedo woodgrain dashes.. heres mine, simple, functional.. maybe a bit more modern with the other gauges but it suits my car which is more on the retro side..

Let's just resurrect this topic - I want to show my new dash :)

I finished this a while ago, but I thought I'd let everyone have a look at it. A blackwood dash with a blackwood parcel shelf. Cost me about $18 in all, but I still need to include a box for the glove box and a switch for the driving lights. Excuse the mess (and the photography).
