Does anyone know if its possible to convert a clutch master (0.75") to brake? I imagine the difference is in drillings in either the bore or piston.
Alternatively, would it be hard to find a 0.75" brake master? What cars did these come on?
If anyone has one, I'd be interested!

The Clutch M/C can be converted, you just need the valve from a brake M/C, some of the over kits include it.

0.75" brake master cylinder was used originally on Morris 850.
Also on 997 Cooper I think (with a hydraulic intensifier). But not the 998 Cooper (they had a 0.625" one and no intensifier).

I would use a plastic tank Oz Clubby 0.75" clutch one, and fit the restrictor valve in the top.

I see that CM have a 0.75" brake master cylinder kit "to suit Australian type plastic tank brake master cylinder as fitted to Australian Minis and Mokes from 1969 to 1976".

Is the valve in question the shiny part in the bottom right of the pic? If so, I think I'm in business - but gee, kit prices ain't what they used to be!

Doesn't appear to, sorry - but the price ($40) is out of this world !!! I recently paid about $12 for a similar kitb !!

Local Brake Specialist. It may have been a trade price, but it shouldn't be more than $18.00 at most. I think it was a PBR but in any event, it was a known brand.

Well I've found a 0.75" cylinder, and ordered a kit. Hope to get it sleeved soon, but in the meantime, I've found these two 0.75" pistons.
Any ideas on which one to use, or why there are these two variations?
One is sllightly longer and has a much, much deeper land for the push rod to live in.
