Gareth, it`s probably just a worn "Anarobic-Transmoglifier", It`s pretty common with old mini engines, they get a little looose with age,,,, a bit of an adjust of the Naggle-Bearing & it`ll be sweet as a nut :-) :-) :-)

Oh yeah I've been thru like 6 of those in the last month, you need a left handed screw driver to get them out. While your at it check your ignition, you might need a new bucket of bright sparks to wash thru your dizzy cap.

Isn't an Anarobic-Transmoglifier something to do with making beer you funny bugger :?:    Or am I spoiling your fun....

Best off using the "Populating-Tool" to adjust it ,,, but just add some lube as you`re doing it

:-)

Must be spring time.....the mating season...seems like the boys are struggling to keep their minds on the job.
We already have a thread that's devoted to these carnal thoughts,
it's called "What are we going to do about this?"
But I just don't know.

Just make sure you don't use one of those "hitable" screwdrivers where the metal of the shaft extends through the plastic handle , I was listening for a noise in in the head (turned out being a broken spring washer from an air cleaner bolt that had been ingested through a carb  ) and brushed the spark plug while the screwdrive was still touching the top of my jawbone just in front of my ear ....[/quote]
