I have nothing to do with it,,,

i thought i was posting that reply on a toyota site about a vee-dub engine :-)

I`m pretty sure i was "Sleep typing" :-)

I have no idea who you`re talking about :-)

Paul who??? doesn`t he live down south/west somewhere???

I don`t have any friends, i have to pay the guys who live next door to "Pretend" to be my mates :-)

Resurrecting an old thread to ask the same question about the timing of introduction of the strengthened Mark 1 Cooper S block which I don't think has ever been answered.

First photo below shows the early block with ribs or bulges in certain areas above and beside the centre main. In the second photo of the later block this area is full of metal and flat.
