ok so i got twin 1 and 1/4 carbys i will fit them next week probly then take it to get tuned and dynoed , what i wanna know is will my fuel pump be enough to supply juice?, its a facet electric fuel pump.

That same pump used to supply a worked 1293 with 45mm weber OK. It had 58Hp at the wheels, so it will be OK.

I don't think you will need to change pumps or make any other fuel related mods.

Hi

I am kevin's brother - the one who has the 1 1/2 setup he spoke about.

You will find that the facet will work fine and deliver enough fuel at all times.

Depending on how big a shoe you wear, you may find that the twins actually uses less fuel than the single 1 1/4 as the fuel is delivered more evenly and doesn't require the throttle to be as open as far for the same revs.

All that goes down the drain though if your grabbing 6000 rpm at every gear change.

very true,luckily dont have a heavy foot, the company im getting to tune it is going to set it up quite well so cant wait , will post pics and power figures when all done

I've a Clubman and looking to put in a roll cage.

wont be buying a cage for a long while , home renos and twin carb setup got me out of $$$, anyways heres the twin setup all fitted and tunned , goes like a bat out of hell :twisted: and holy crap is the induction noise loud , well worth it
