I'm pretty sure that you said the same thing I did,, except you knew that they used those rockers on late pre A+ motors.. :?
You said that the head and rockers were both A+.
I said that they were from a 77/78 Australian Mini (a couple of years before the A+)
So I guess that we did say the same thing. Only the words and meaning were totally different.

Those sintered rockers can be fun when it comes to adjusting the clearance. The wear from the valve stem forms a 'channel' which is smaler than the feeler gauge... Making it impossible to set the clearances right.

If you'r not aware of this, they can give you a decent head scratching (been there, done that) :lol: In that case it helps to cut down the feeler gauge to the width of the valve stem :) (or throw them away and fit proper rockers ;))
