As far as I can tell the ACL administrators have decided to trade out of the current position. However 6 months ago this was not clear, and I suppose Lindsay decided not to take the risk that they would be able to supply bearings for british cars in the future even if they did manage to keep trading.

I though that Federal Mogul did buy a place in Melbourne or Adelaide that was on the brink of collapse when Mitsubishi went under, and Ford just closed a component plant in Sydney last month.
