has to be Japanese. I'm normal good with my search but can't find this one. I'm a little worried as you can also see a sprite and also a woody in the back ground also

Wouldn't touch that one. If you are after a Austin MK1 S from Japan then may I suggest:

If you have the money then the Tartan Red one is the winner! ENJOY! 8)

The Japanese are very hot on early Minis. They are ultra-cool over there.

However, Jap dealers are a very perculiar lot. It's a case of take it or leave it apparently and if they don't like the look of you they won't sell you the car. :?

Too exy by gfar.

There is so much wrong with this car it is doubtful it is anything but a fake S. The things I see that I don't think have been mentioned are

Wrong shade green and Almond green cars had an Old English White roof.
Trim should be Porcelain Green and Dove Grey, carpets grey
I don't think it is a 1275/1071/970 block.
Wrong rocker cover
Wrong aircleaner box
Wrong head
Wrong front head stud
Wrong solenoid bracket
Wrong servo and brackets
Wrong regulator and mounted wrong

Al

Early shell with later door handles as well, anyone that restores a mini or cooper that puts the door cards in upside down should be shot :? unless its the UK BMC Australia prototype
Looks a bit dodgy to me unless the seller can come up with a very good explination.

Brake booster is around the wrong way?

Should be a Lockheed booster on an early car?

Looks like a bitsa to me, I'd be happy to own it though.
