I have a Supercrap Jack, I don't mind it, supports the mini no probs, but doesn't fit under the front first off..

Have to jack it up with my LOW scissor jack..then carry on with the super crap one...

I use axle stands as well....Is it ok to rest these on the axles as it suggests? I don't like this idea really..doesn't seem as stable..I put them on the big flat part of the subframe..

I took all the wheels off my supercrap one.
There was no way i could get it under the front any other way.
And the front is standard (30 year old) height! :)

If you find your jack won't go under the car drive it onto a couple of bits of wood or bricks to lift the height.

I think people would die in horror if they saw how I got my mini ontop of its body trolley...... i'll just say a couple words....

4 axle stands ontop of 4 tree stumps, trolley jack, many many blocks of wood, and bricks.

Lifted my car a whole metre off the ground.....while still sitting on axle stands... and the trolley jack was still on the ground too  Wish I got photos.....

I bought a trolley jack / axle stand / wheel chock pack from supercrap. It works fine.

I have the problem of lifting the van body high enough and level enough to get it onto a rotisserie. Then when it is finished with all the subframes, fuel tank etc in it getting the thing off. Getting it off will be easy, getting it on promises to be interesting. I think I will round up about 6 people and lift it onto some timber supports the right height. I cannot see any other practical way to do it. It is an absolute bare body so is as light as it can be. .

Yep :) :)

Well i got the car ramps (30 each from Superwank) and theyre great.
I got some dyna-bolts too to bolt them to the shed floor so they dont slip around when i try to drive up them.

I havent used the jack stands yet, but i got them too.
