I found the key to my mini in a bag of lettuce in the fridge once. Took me hours to work out how it got there. You might be looking too hard. I try to stop and think what you were doing at the time, even stand in the spot where you put them in the bag. That torch idea does work too.

Have you checked the fridge?
I cut myself working on the Brick the other day, so went to the first aid kit on the wall and cut off a length of Elastoplast to cover the wound. I grabbed a drink at the same time 'cos the fridge was nearby - then I couldn't find the bandage again. So with blood trails dripping around the shed I looked everywhere, eventually giving up and cutting another bandage. When the bleeding had stopped I grabbed another drink from the fridge and found the first one - Old age is taking hold !!

I checked everywhere. Turned the shed over twice. Spent another hour in there this morning looking so I went and bought some more. I'm sure I'll trip over them in the next twenty minutes or so... :)
