GT m, yes Robbos is still at St Martins.
But I got it from Baulko when they had a branch there.

Gaf, that pump should be fine, looks just like mine (but I think mine is lower pressure).
They are pretty hard pumps to kill.

You can get that style pump, but i think slightly less pressure then 5-6psi from autobahn for somewhere around the $50 mark i believe. Not overly sure of the price but i know the are very cheap.

Yer ill give it a werl...it has no numbers on it so cant see what model it is. it possibly is the lower pressure one as it was used for the van before and it was the standard 998

Out if curiosity, what do people do with the 1/4" outlet on the fuel tank when fitting 5/16" lines? I thought of just using a 1/4" hose fitting on the inlet side of the pump, but that seems to somewhat defeat the purpose of running 5/16" line.

I think I may have answered my own question, I measured a spare tank, and the outlet seems to be 5/16" anyway... That will make things easier!

Ta. Last time I was in there (a few years ago now) they had quite an amazing aray of speed and other after market gear, mostly reasonable quality too.

Absolute irritants is all i call these spare parts places. I will not name names but I went to a number today and they were of no use. the two companies I went to did not have what they said they did. I was also looking for spark plug leads that were right angled at both ends. 1 Location was close but did not have anything in the sizes i wanted, where another once I told the sales person what I wanted he brought out 4 coil leads  unfortantly this was my second last place I was going to and a bit angry by this stage. This fool said to me you can not get 90 degree angle spark leads. I want say what I called him but I advised him I already have a set on my other car
All he could come back with was "do you have a Part number"
I'll by pass these guys as I should have in the first place and buy a set of Gr leads.
With the 5/16 fuel Pipe i'll go to my brake dealer and get a 4-5 meter length
basically a day waisted

Problem with `spare parts places' these days is it's all done via the book/computer. If you don't have a car's model, series, VIN #, date made etc, Repco etc are absolutely lost now.

Anybody been to Supercrap's on line store lately? fkin hopeless for spares.
Try finding shock absorbers for a VT Commodore, for example. Or anything else you don't KNOW the p/no of.
More work required, Mr website developer.
