Titanium rear swing arms and rear disc brakes:
http://www.force-racing.co.uk/rear-suspension/

Also titanium driveshafts, hubs, Hardie-Spicer joints, drive flanges, flywheel, slave cylinder and bolts used throughout the car.

Note that 4mm polycarbonate (e.g. Lexan) must be used according to CAMS, not perspex.

Put a bike engine in there, take the clutch stuff out and put a centrifugal clutch in.
And get a compliance plate off a pre-ADR car so you wont need seatbelts or crash safety.

Fill the tyres with helium. It'll add lightness (until it all migrates through the rubber)

Do a mini sprint conversion.

Bout 7 - 8 years ago i got to drive Jaan Fox's Sprint replica. This car is awsome, it had no speedo so i don't know how fast i went but i know i got 7500rpm in 4th :D Then i broke the fibreglass front when it spat the belt

It had:
Less metal in the body
No trim
No boot floor
A small fuel cell
A small battery in the middle of the car
Fibreglass flip front
All perspex windows except the front
Gutted doors
1 seat
No speedo
Holes throughout both subframes, starter, dizzy, alt, clutch cover and flywheel housing
1 alloy tube gear selector rod
Alloy pedals also with holes
1 awesome engine :D

I cant remember what else but there was probably more.

pics?

Hope he's got a scatter shield over that , not that the original housing will stop much but it will stop more than that one would ....

You will note that on the rear i.e where the driver is it does not have openings, so it will work just as (in)effectively as the original.

Check again Mike , I think it is the drivers edge that is opened out , the starter motor hole is the side away from the camera .
