I do use Purple and I buy it from Electromold here in Bundoora, Melbourne. Not sure where else you can get it. Costs about $20 from memory.

I am pretty sure that you can wet sand your mags. I used to have 12" performance superlites that were gold. A guy in the club actually hand polished them and boy you should have seen the end results. They were shiny silver when he finished. Apparently it took him a long time but he did it. He starts with a coarse sand paper then works down to a fine paper then the chrome polish to keep the shine up. I just used to polish them quickly everytime I cleaned the car. This is back when mutant was green. Didn't take long and they had no protective coating on them at all.

I eventually sold them and of course I'm sorry now.

Oh well.

so basically what you're saying is just a metal polish will work well? would you suggest wet-dry sandpaper as well? or does that depend on the condition?
