Wow, thanks everyone! It'd end up being a pretty big deal here, Mildura isn't exactly huge, a lot of people would get wind of it. And yes... there will be beer/spirits/wine... :P

Mokes at least are a direct relation, but a BINI is like some distant family member who most gets shuned at family gatherings.................

Watto's GDO is on Sunday 12th December , if you can give me a date in November I,ll see if I can organize a combined Vic, SA and NSW Mini Show and as I said anyone wanting to be part of the wedding convoy can come straight from the event, I,ll have to have a look at what parks are available for hire , if each car pays $3 entry we should cover park hire and anything left over can go to charity
.

So, he doesn't know about the minis or he doesn't know about the wedding?

That would be an interesting conversation

Unsuspecting Groom : Honey , why are you wearing a wedding dress ?
Erynn : Shut up and put this suit on !
Unsuspecting Groom : Ok Ok but please put the shotgun down , oh Father O'Brian what are you doing here
Erynn : Shut up , we are going to get married , have babies and live happily ever after , get the picture , now put this ring on and say I do or I,ll lock you in the cellar again
.

Hey Erynn, How about some Mini's from North QLD? 8)

Not too far for me :D

I'd like to think I would do the same thing as you when I get married. geez were mini freaks aye

I am traveling down to SA for the "Mini's at the Mill" show around that time, so are more than happy to be present.

http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic ... 749#747749

I will be bringing my van with it's daihatsu conversion, (paintwork ain't that great as its been my work car) and not sure yet but depending on how things turn out I am still in 2 minds weather to bring my Sedan Mini that's the show car.

The show car (Bluey) is the first one in my sig pic, and the van (Madlockie) is the yellow van.

So theres another 1 good chance 2 mini's all the way from QLD for you

Keep us updated with dates soon, and We'll work something out :)

LMAO! He doesn't know about the Minis.... well, he sort of does now... We just haven't set a date, it's been mainly talk atm and ideas. We were originally just going to nick off to Adelaide and get hitched without telling anyone.. But that wouldn't really be what *I* want.. would it? ;p

Either Mid Nov.. or Mid March.. March would give us more time to organise and less worry about events like Minis at the Mill etc..

as the tour coordinator :) :)
how does the 13/14 sound as it is one of the few dates free :)
we need to book dates a couple of months ahead :(

you could do what a friend of my wife did
invited all people to an "engagment party"
and in the middle of the speeches told everyone who was listening
"oh by the way the lady walking accross the floor towards us is a wedding celebrant you are now at the wedding SUPRISE" :D :D :D

Hahaha well, actually... we were going to send out engagement invites.. have everyone rock up and us turn up late, in wedding attire like.... Tadaaaa! We're married!...

A "Mini Show" event could mask this really quite well...

Would love to help should be ready by March, November if we're lucky. What about Richard's Red and White one, (used to work out of Enzed's yard in Etiwanda on the tenth st side doing mini repairs)?
