Out of curiosity how much do your frames weigh? including tongue and ball.

a lot less than 17  .. i've actually weighed mine b4 i put it on and its just under 13kg. And that's a van one that needs more steel than a sedan. The normal usual sedan ones are only 7kg. I know this as I also weighed the one i bought, b4 i cut it up and modified it to fit the van. ONLY 17!! ekkk

Worst thing about a tow bar is trying to undo your boot and let it rest without holding it up while you put something in it or take something out

mine (by luck) opens up perfectly as long as I make sure the numberplate flap hangs down :D

but the removable tongue is handy, unbolts pretty quickly...

This is my tow bar set up for my trailer and my relocated exhaust.

My exhaust mounts and clearance.

Their is about 15mm clearance and the rubber mounts bottom out before the metal surfaces make contact.

My custom made tip compared to my old tip, 2" down to twin 1" and it has genuine 36 year old Leyland pipe in it.

Still need to paint everything but that will be after I've checked it all works how it should, I don't want to have to paint it twice  .
