Meh.... That was one of the easier jobs Ive done on that car. Yeah bugger using a spanner!!! Im taking that frigger back for a refund..! I used my 3/8 uni drive and a 7/16th socket and was sweet as! I got a syringe and filled it up with prepsol, I carefully squirted that on the studs as they were covered in underbody deadner. Prepsol makes mince meat out of that stuff!!!!! But yeah, all off within about 20mins. All cleaned up ready for the new gaskets to go on. I really should do the drivers door....... But...... mmmmmm...... I dunno....

The view from my lounge chair!

Okay I did mine with a 1/4" Drive socket ( can't remember the size but i am sure you will work that out easy enough ).
On the socket place a 1/4 drive universal. This gives you the angle to get away from the fire wall. Then a 6 inch extension and rachet into the universal.
Then it's happy days.

I found it just wouldn't fit - it was hitting the firewall so that the socket was at an angle and it just kept slipping off - the ring spanner was the only way - wonder if the earlier cars were a bit different - mine is a 1963 English built knock down

Hot looking car.
I'd love to see it in the flesh one day.
