DANIDAD! I can relate to you in some ways as I know of people (close friends) who are in similar positions. To some extent, i can understand your feelings, but i dont think anyone who has 'friends in similar positions' can ever REALLY know what it is like.

HOWEVER!!!!!!!!! I also know that police check sights like this, and they would from now forth monitor cruizes... HOW MANY OF US HAVE ILLEGAL PARTS ON OUR CARS??? ESPECIALLY IF THE PIGS GET PICKY!!!!

I am 19 atm, and know what it is like to be heaps into cars but unable to drive... WAIT! find a paddock, kill yourself there! I nearly did once, i thought i was being kewl and rolled a car over and the roof buckled... I could have died, along with my mate in the passenger seat (This was in a paddock and completely offroad (and somewhat intentional) but still stupid)...

i have met 1 'non-pig' policer officer. I get really ticked off because I get pulled over and have my car searched for drugs and things like that regulary...Or pulled over just to be breath-tested (not into booths, but lights flashing pulling over).
I dont do drugs and am not associated with anyone who does. I dont have a single mark on my driving record. Fines for stupid things like no washer bottle (defects basically)....

But out of respect, police or coppers will be it makka, to you that is!

nuke when i was younger i got hassled by the cop's and well yeah it gets tiersome but in the same respect them pulling over pissed or drugfucked kids is what they do to try and save the life of someone else .... i used to use drugs till i was 18 then gave it away you whats funny i never got hassled when i used drugs but after i gave them up i got hassled so much it just was not funny i dont know how many times i got pulled over and they serched my car pull everything out and leave me there to pack it all away again ........ i finally got the crap's with it and went and spoke to the desk sarge at the local cop shop who then put me onto the local comand guy and we had a discussion about this ........ i found out the previouse owner was a dealer and the car was still on record so with a few calls and a few keystrokes it all stoped thank god for that but anyways plus there are two pigs on here i know of

ummm how would the police help the situation well for a start we have a maniac 14 yo driving like a looney, who has been advised to think about the consequences of his actions and hads taken no notice and bragging about doing it again..
I think the cops could solve that situation quick smart.
however i do take the point that nuclear mini makes and see the problems it could make for others... this is something i didnt consider at the time. yes i was rather pissed off at the sheer cheek of that kid to brag about this again.. police allert avoided!!!
makka you obviously have no idea what it means to have kids, and no idea what its like to have to deal with the aftermath of extreme brain injury... the biggest tragedy isnt loosing a child.. it only seems thay way till youve personally spent 17 + years of your life dealing with all the complexities of profound disability.
as for meeni who had no doubt read all those threads including the censored one. what made him think he would get any respect from bragging about driving at all let alone claiming to be going hard or whatever... might be that there wasnt enough condemnation form the other members.. in fact there was more encouragement than anything until the arguement about how his car would rev got nasty and was axed..
at the begining of this post once again ther was no-one saying pull yas head in idiot..
as a community, be it only an internet one, we shouldnt condone that sort of stupidity or in any way encourage it.. especially to someone so young..
i cant see how anyone in their right mind could have read that post and not say something about the sheer stupidity of it...
those who encouraged him the first time now have this to show for their efforts.. once again lucky no one has become a statistic... if anyone looks in there paper next week and sees a pic of an orange mini with a kids bike jammed underneath it.. will they feel they tried to prevent it or that they encouraged the situation..

remember despite his claims (which in some ways make it all the worse) he is only 14 , his driving skills are going to be minimal (if he had any idea he wouldnt be driving like that on the streets or around units..
once you hit a kiddy you cant say im sorry and undo it...
yes a lot of us did silly things when we got our licences, but driving at 130 at 14 etc is pretty extreme stupidity.. this kid is either on the road to major disaster. or more full of crap than a septic tank.
either way it isnt funny.....
