YG2S3 and YG2S5 were not used.

YG2S4 - Mk2 Cooper S

YG2S6 - Mini 1100 (base model - 1098cc engine, dry suspension, etc)

YG2S7 - Mini Clubman (basically Mini De Luxe with square front - see Issue 25 of TME for full details)

YG2S8 - Clubman GT (Issue 19 of TME for full history)

Cheers,
Watto.

OK, I'm a dill.....I'll admit it.

I was going from memory and I'm tired from a long drive (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, you are correct, YG2S3 was the Mini 1100.

YG2S1 was the Mini K (Mini De Luxe Mk2)

YG2S2 not used.

But, now I'm confused on this one. I thought YG2S5 was not used, so what is the plate from?

Cheers,
Watto.

Mini.
From memory it was a very dismantled car, just a shell and some boxes.

Maybe it was the infamous Mini K 1100 Automatic, thought to be extinct (or never actually born).

Cheers,
Watto.

I'd say it's a Matic one with the stamp prefix incorrect.
Mine is mis-stamped too, it says YG2S5 138#
But the number on my shroud is correct, YA2S5 138#.
