deviating from the post subject  but i actually just bought a second one, and plan on fitting it somewhere in the drivers side. not sure where yet.

the threat of a fire in my mind is pretty high. i have been in many performance cars that have caught fire with me as a passenger. and have seen what fire can do, and how fast it acts.

so yeh, i will have two

Sorry about hijacking thread but since you don't mind:

I have had one incident but that was on GR's engine dyno where we were starting the engine repeatedly and the filter was soaked in fuel.

But yes you are right, 120bhp + Sidedraft + high pressure fuel pump + large fuel lines = big trouble in a hurry. You're making me think twice about not putting it back in now

GL with works dash. My works dash conists of a Smiths Tacho

I would put the fire extinguisher in and lose 2 kgs somewhere else to compensate. I'm not suggesting where, but Bee Knees may have to be sacrificed if you get my drift :D

I'm just saying the 2 kilos have to come from somewhere in order to keep the fire extinguisher. :D :D :D

if it makes you feel any better  i am upgrading from standard leyland clubman seats to cobra classic seats this weekend, so there will be quite a significant weight saving there.

OK extinguisher is back in the car, I chose to put in the front passenger seat footwell mounted on the seat cross member. Out of the way and easy to access.

Sorry for an EPIC hijack of your thread! A thousand applogies
