Yep, and tested the negative and positive terminal on the coil and also the seating of the rotor. Also the resistance at the leads and the draw off the battery.

So you do have spark at the plugs? And your leads are fitted in the correct order? Sounds like you dont have an ignition problem then. Look towards the carb.

OK people. All is good. Just wanted to add the conclusion to this thread.
Changed the starter and she started sounding the way she should but still no start. Changed the spark plugs and bingo. All is good. Whoever said in the thread fouled plugs, you are the weener.
