Call me paranoid (I do ;) ) but I'd prefer to select a tube with a greater working pressure than the static pressure of the hydro system (300 PSI)... even if the burst pressure is rated in the thousands, I reckon I'd feel happier with something like the 600 PSI WP tubing underneath me.

But then, at 300 PSI static I'm surprised my 40yo hydro bags haven't let go yet.. so 300 PSI WP new plastic piping is probably well up to the job.

Hopefully

The pressure does not increase that much. The rubber spring on the top of the displacer is not a 1000psi spring.

Just because you don't understand how hydro works.

Keep Going, i love watching superior minds butt heads

I'm not going to bother. If it thinks the rubber spring has anything to do with the pressure in the system. I'd dearly like to know how a spring gets rated in psi?

It clear has no idea how the system works.

You can use copper water pipe (coils from Bunnings) and solder in the valves. I know of 2 Austin 1800 rally cars that has had this done for their internal lines, no probs after completing the Repco rerun last year.
