I just pulled a 940 head off a 850 block. 8AM engine. It has big valves fitted and double springs [ with out the extra head studs] and was fed by a 1 1/4 SU

A 1275LS head will have a hole for the air pump near each spark plug.

This 12G1316 `smog' head was used on 1275LS and late 1275 Mokes.

Identical.
Mine has the 2 extra stud holes because I had it on my S motor.
My 1360 motor is a 12YEAH (Morris 1300 auto) too, it's going back in at Xmas. More POWA than the 1412 stroker, but you have to rev it to get it.
