1100 lovers would still be cursing you, they're all crazy

hey! I know where there is a good 1100S with a nice interior, but no engine - you could make one 1100 out of the two

Oi I'm not crazy - well not in a clinically definable sense

BTW I did take a very rusty 1100S and put the running gear in Ms Plum - that 4.2 diff is awesome - wheelspine in 3rd gear!

OK, I am potentially crazy* (4efte in 1100 pretty much says that) and I do love them but when they are stuffed, they're stuffed. So don't feel bad if you wreck it.

I have only ever paid $50 for the ones I have bought. (Except my current one which I paid way more for, but made most back selling the interior and motor.)

I have taken a bunch of them to the tip cause they do tend to get pretty far gone, and there just hasn't been a market for them to make saving them viable. I'm sure plenty of worse mini's get fixed than 1100s get scrapped. We got rid of our whole collection about 10 years ago when my folks moved and lots of the bits I have now had to source again since getting back into them.

I actually steered one to the tip, surrounded by sharp and rust scrap metal!!! (see * above) on a rigid bar behind dads falcon. Was only a few ks but I was nervous the entire way. Anyway if you do wreck it can I have the hydro pipes?
