If you get the wheel off and can measure the length of the stud and bring it up to my place I am sure that I have plenty of studs to suit and will check the collection of wheel nuts.
I have a nut/puller arangement to pull the new studs in which you can borrow.
If the nuts are a odd ball size etc, I can knock up a couple for you.
Send me a PM if you want and will give you phone No's etc.

Also said that it just had a set of disks fitted - probably the studs weren't pressed (pounded with FBH) all the way it. Check all the others.

I've never belted them all that hard when I've fitted mine. In fact, 9 times out of 10 I do it with the drive flange on the car, and just press them in with a set of vice grips, then tug them all the way onto the splines with a wheel nut and a few washers...

Still worth giving them a couple of taps while the nut is still pulled up tight. It only has to be a couple thou left to go and it can pull in the rest of the way on a couple of spirited corners and let the nut come lose.

On a trip to Hay once a mate broke three studs on two wheels. Diagnosis was he'd overtightened them and the heat generated on a long fast drive had caused them to break.

Blair Athol Auto Parts (Mini King) on Churchill Rd Kilburn are long established Mini parts/mechanical specialists (since 1960s). About 6 km north of the CBD.

In the City itself there's an independent Land Rover / Britpart specialist in Angas St called Sovereign Automotive - they do Rover cars as well as 4X4s so may do work on Minis if you ask nicely - it's a pretty straight forward job.
