Luckily I had future self advised me not to get a wife or kids...

I did however ignore future self, and buy a house and a dog, but I dont drink beer so thats all good!

So make sure you listen to your future self in future!!! Ok

thanks for the advice guys. i will think hard about what i want to do, i would love to put a swift engine in it.

but it's a traveler it's rare, I would rather some one else buy it with a mini engine.

the fact that is a rare car puts me off kinda wrecking it with a gti swift conversion or i would jump at doing it.

but it's rare & i would rather do it to a less rarer run of the mill mini & thats why i bought one.

does the swift conversion require much butchering that can't be reversed?

I dunno.. if you're choosing a swift mini over a lovely traveller, I'd be questioning why/if you really want a mini at all! Sell both, buy a house, get a cheap run about, then buy another mini to park in the garage for Sundays in 5 years time. There you go, a 5 year plan!

Just over it pretty much. Decided I'll be putting it up for sale.

Lovely car had some fun times but time to move on

I'm in the same position with my deluxe, but I'd rather have a mortgage for more than I need and have my mini than sell it and not be able to afford to get another one in years to come when either a: petrol runs out or b: the cars are so rare they're expensive.

Just work harder, and save more... Ive got a big house loan, and I own more cars/boats/trailers than I did before I purchased a house!

Its your love that drives you, not the cash or storage.

I still have one mini though so still in it :)

I have thought about it today & the fact i have put so much into the car.

im going to try keep it & "" work harder"" to make some extra coin.

but i'm still a 50/50 will sit on it for now & keep thinking.
