There have been a spait of after market discs and some drums for all types of cars - world wide getting about that were not normalised or stress relieved after casting and before machining. So when they are first fitted they are fine, but once they get warm or hot they relieve and so take up their relaxed shape, which will be different to that to which they were machined to - warped.

So, the best way to find out

Maybe a disc has warped or a brake drum has bent?

Had some gorilla do up the rear wheel nuts (to tight) of late?

You can check it with a dial gauge or if you don't have one, a bit of bent wire and a good eye will do the same.

To check the drums, take them off and put them back on reversed, be sure to put the screws in to hold them in the right place.

One problem that I had when installing brand new disc brakes was that the disc and subsequently the drive flanges were not seated properly on the hub and CVs. Could only figure this out with a dial gauge set up to see if it was spinning true or not.

Beware! cause this cause the hub nut to become loose with time, luckily I caught it quickly and fixed it. Get it fixed, pronto!

You realise ofcourse now that your car has them fat ass wheels on it the brakes have to work a bit harder to make you stop in the same time?
