What problems have you had?

Simply, they are too big in a Mini. When Open (and you can't part open them) the air pressure inside builds and releases in quick succession when on the move. It plays hell on your ears! and opening the windows didn't seem to help. Also, with the amount of daylight on the inside, you couldn't read the instruments, either they were 'in the dark' or washed out with light. I was always worried that someone would take to it with a knife when parked (yes, there are people around like that!). It did occationally leak a little, but surprisingly not too bad. I went to Castlereagh Dragway with it and they weren't impressed, but let me run anyway. After they saw how quick the car was on it's first run, they banned me from running again (unless I fitted a Roll Cage  ) That was the one of years ago.

If I get a chance, I'll post a pic of the current one. It is a factory (or dealer) fitted original. Man, has it shunk something horrible, the middle of the sides are just about wide open......

For me, when I feel like 'rag topping' I'll take the Moke anyday.....

My Mk2 Cooper S had one fitted in 1970 from the dealer - I love it, cuts the noise down, let's the sun shine in.

It's manual operation with a wind deflector at the front that hinges up. No leaks, but had to get some strengthening supports welded in under the corners to stop the roof cracking in this area. That was in 1976, never had a problem with it since.
