Looks a darn sight better than my araldite attempts to fix my steering cowl!

Honestly, unless you point out the fact that it's been broken in the past, no one will think twice once it's in the car.

A few years ago I had some moulds made by the local composite specialist along with a few sets (one final and several practice versions). They were (are?) dead set accurate - and being 'glass they don't distort with heat /UV.

I sold the moulds to the original owner of Classic Motoring. I don't know if the current owners still have them...

Looking good, but don't go the clear gloss. I "restored" mine and painted them gloss black 2 pac, and they looked ridiculous.

What would you suggest? Currently they are painted Satin Black. I was going to put 1 more coat of black on.

Leave them satin black - don't introduce any gloss. The paint you are using should be hard wearing enough.
