Well I'm glad that when I was asked by my photographer which mag I would rather try for, Fast Fours or Hot 4's, i had the sense to say Fast Fours.

They were extremely nice to me. Even gave me special negative things so that I could get extra prints myself.

I can only wish i had a choice, Tony Rabbitte the photographer who did the pics, came up to Cairns for a car show with the Editor of Street Machine, they were looking for cars to feature in SM. They both agreed mine was the quality for SM but not the right type of car (fair enough) They found no cars for SM!!! But cause Tony also does photography for Hot 4's he contacted them and they allowed him to do the photo shoot the monday after the car show. But my car did score a photo in SM when they ran an article on the Car show.

Yeah i got a couple of slides (negatives) to, 1 of them i blew up to 100cm by 75cm and got it professionally mounted and framed.

Got an email on wed from the Editor of Hot 4's apoligizing for not getting in touch, he advised that the photos seem to have gone missing and no 1 knows anything about the car!!!

I replied and said that thanks to your company being so slack to advise me when the car was being featured or at least returned my calls or emails, i have since missed the issue as it was featured 5 mths ago......

He apoligised and will try and find some complementary copies to send me.......

Lets wait and see!!!!!

HOT's WAS SUPPOSED TO FEATURE MY CAR ALSO, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS COMING OUT IN THE JUNE ISSUE.

MY CAR WAS FEATURED ON THE COVER OF THE MAY ISSUE OF MINIWORLD, THEY SENT ME 4 COPIES, NOTIFIED ME OF THE ISSUE, ETC, ETC.

I RANG HOT4's AND COULD NOT BELEIVE THAT THEY WONT NOTIFY, NOR SEND A FREE ISSUE,

I STILL HAVE NO ANSWER ON WHEN IT IS COMING OUT!

DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous moderation means the agro that is built up towards the mods isn't aimed at an individual (fewer "Makk" attacks). Less stress for mods means less moderator "retirements".

Yeah they are a pretty useless bunch if u ask me.....! No 1 seems to have any idea wat is going on with anything. They told me a month ago mine would be out round june/july but yeah it was actually featured in Jan.

The photographers are great, but the upper management needs a bit of improvement.

Due to very similar instances happening TWICE in the past, I too will give FAST 4's the good word when anybody asks for my preference.
