The sensor is on the front of the block, near the dizzy.

Jammed Oil Pressure Relief Valve. If your's is the block that the oil filter screws directly on to (near the flywheel end), then it has two valves. Check them both.

That's the MPI block, mines the one earlier but I'll check the pressure valve later tonight

There are late Jap SPi blocks with no dizzy. I used to own one. The oil filter mounts in a differnt spot to the South African blocks.

Late Jap SPI block is the same as UK MPI.

if it's the oil light that's flicking/ coming on, don't ignore it, find out what the fault is. It might be a wiring /switch fault but if it IS low oil pressure, you could be doing damage :(

not sure about the sensor.. but the wire was definately on it.

how would you know if its broken ?
