"Considering the company" ??? - they are all the same - it feels like they're all made by the same guys and then onsold by KAD, Minispares etc. I'm selling a Mini Spares one on Ebay right now and its so identical to the KAD one (all the way down to the blue anodized bell which is inevitably a few thou too small to fit oz selector housings) that its scarry.

i think the gearstick is the same lenght it is just less distance to each gears (short throw) its done by changing the leverage point of the stick ie longer from the ball down
thats why the new blue thing is needed :) it looks mighty nice too i think ill get one

Dad has one, it feels real nice, makes the shift heaps shorter, but it takes a bit of getitng used to and then, like sean said, you have to have it in the right spot otherwise its a bit funny.

stop apologising makka!!!!

Well this is my wording, would this be misleading too?

"For sale is this Quick Shift kit for rod change gearboxes. The Quick Shift is a very popular bolt on mod, especialy in the UK, for the past 30 odd years - giving shorter shifts and stiffer / more precise feel to the usualy wobbly rod change gear shift. People like these for the sportier more modern feel it gives to the BMC gearbox and the potentialy quicker shifting"

Am I using this opportunity to shamelessly plug my own sales - no, not intentionaly, not this time.

Well,,,i`ve had one in my Blue rally mini for the past 5 years & it`s great, they do no harm to anything & work a treat,,,the only harm that can be done is by "people", not the "shifter"

it`s the person using the gun that kills someone, the gun won`t kill anyone by itself

Ive running the KAD Quickshift for rod-change since 98. Never had a drama and would never use a standard gear stick again after using it.
