Here is the figures....

All figures had to be done in 3rd due to the rover long gearing and the fact the dyno is really made for machine upto 2500bhp... lol

So....

from the last hotbricks dyno day:

Nick 666
1.3i 49.3 / 49.7HP

also tony wallis ran his 1.3i, it made an extra HP or two.

dont worry about it too much, dyno results vary quite a bit,
if the engine is running the right air/fuel its healthy and nice to drive thats all you need.

Does the diff ratio effect a dyno reading?
For example, a 1.3 mini with a 3.44 and the same engine with a 2.9 diff, would the 3.44 be notably (say 1/7th ~ 7 hp out of 49) higher than the other?

[quote="woodwormm"]power is overrated and or relative.. otherwise we'd all own 6 cylinders or V8s..quote]

My thoughts too....if you want 'fire cracker' performance go buy a WRX or a V8 something. We get these guys bringing v8 commodes into work, they spend six zillion dollars on them making a trillion HP, then drive out and get pulled over by cops and then pay more money putting it back to standard to get the 'defective vehicle' sticker off.

As i said this wasn't done for the reason of power....

My Spi was running like a bag of SH&T and over fueling badly, it was cheaper to buy an aftermarket programable ecu with computer software than a diagnostic reader for the Spi.

So i did this and wanted to make sure it was all ok, so had it dyno 'tuned' to make sure all was as it should.
