I am sorry to hear of it.
I have bought a few spares from them in the last year or so and got some good advice too.
They had some great cars in there getting repaired the last time
I was there about two weeks ago.

Sorry to see another aussie mini business shut down, but again get a decent freakin website for folks to order from. I cant believe the shite some mini suppliers have. Put a picture and a price, yes it will cost a bit and take some time to set up but once its done your laughing.

I have seen all this un-folding a few years ago now. Raist2, yes, NMP are still trading, but it is nothing like what it was. We have seen a few shut up shop in the past few years and saddly there are still others to follow, I'd really like to be wrong on that.

It was Paul Skinner who had Mini Car Clinic, nice bloke. He saw the writing and got out of it in the late 90's.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

keastmini, unfortunately they're closed now.. but, doogie, you're spot on, it's pretty much all finding a new home at NMP, granted that's where alot of it came from, NMP's pretty much going to be bursting at the seams..

I might have to go over and try to give them some space by getting a few spares to match the spares I have

Does this closure leave any Mini shops in Sydney, if so which ones.

I was planning a trip down this week to pick up some bits I need when the news came through

Seeing those photos brings back memories of the "Mini Car Clinic" days when I used to visit and drool over the glass cabinets full of stuff I couldn't afford. :(

Me too, early 90's. What about the staff, Larry & Tony? Any good news for them? Never met Larry but had a lot of contact with him when I first rebuilt the Black S in 1990, he was with Mini Kingdom then.

Tony hopefully will be starting up a home based mini repair business, i hope he does, he's one of the best guys around for engines & gearboxes and general repairs. Im not sure about Larry, he has had health issues over the last 6 months, i hope he is'nt lost to the mini world, he's knowledge is invaluable.
