Simey is fantastic - thanks mate.
I got a call yesterday from a guy saying "Hi Ausmini is down"
It truley shows the effort Scott and Simon (and the rest) put in that you have a forum down for an hour and people call people and have withdrawal symptoms.

Good work guys!

Pete

+1

yesterday I sent a text message to Poeee saying "let's ring sgc and ask him to sort it out", but the only way we had to contact you was through ausmini

Happy to help out, just let me know :) PM me and I'll shoot you my mobile & email address. MySQL is easy-peasy, 800MB is pretty tiny for a database if done properly...

Isn't it funny , how when this place has a fart , most of us start wondering what the f#&k we're going to do for our daily fix  , amazing how addictive these forums
are :) .
As for running costs ,this place must cost someone money to keep it going, i for one wouldn't mind donating some funds to help pay my way, god knows i've gained a lot of
imformation that i probably wouldn't of ever been able to read or learn in this time .
Thanks to the people in the background that sort out these problems and mod the joint.

On behalf of everyone on Ausmini I thank you Simon for the work you do behind the scenes and the time you put in, and to Scott for providing the forum. Is there a link somewhere giving details to make a donation to the running costs?

Guys,

If anyone is serious about contributing a small amount, PM or email Poeee. The bills come to him at the end of the day.

The odd t-shirt or sticker drive has raised a bit of small change for the server in the past as well as publicity.

cheers
michael

Might be time for an " Ausmini Shop " sticky thread , would need some photos of t-shirts and stickers , and then just PM Poeee to order

Some database queries were locked that upset the server the site is running on, which shut down the other websites that are running on the same server, so the host suspended our account till we sorted it out.
