Any modification to the factory track width, is deemed illegal in qld.
Simple things like spacers are perfectly legal down south but not here in qld.
I am guessing you have outward offset contessa's and i am also guessing they are early version, which had a larger outward offset.

suggestion of neg camber on teh front will decrease the amount of tire visible form above but any D.O.T or police person will not fall for it.

What diameter is the rotor?
Do your rims actually fit and rotate on the car?

So it would be illegal to put S disc brakes on my 850 as that would change the factory track because its not a cooper s?
Rotors are 7.5 that PO tells me were ground down from 8.4. If i remember correctly i think they are MG metro or similar. My rims do fit over, just.

mind posting a picture of the brakes?

It still amazes me when I see POS universal slotted ones hanging in shops for sale.

Sh!tty alloy ones at that, which crush and give you loose wheel nuts into the bargain..

They go well with the matching screw-on hex body extender studs, they are illegal too. But I dunno if they still sell them. I sincerely hope not, they were a disaster waiting to happen.

Look like 8.4 ventilated? Those rotors and drive flanges widen the track more than 7.5 S or late Mini 8.4s do.
Overkill on an 850...
