3 reasons:
1. I was doing track days at Wakefield Pk back then, and thought a shorter diff would help the lap time.
2. It makes it better to drive in traffic with the RE282 sprint cam and 1.5 rockers it has.
3. I hardly do any freeway runs with it.
Mind you next time I rebuild it it'll get a 3.44 or a 3.1. I have traction probs in 1st gear now, with Mk2 S gears once it hits 5000rpm the wheels spin on the road to 8000..

Tyres are A008s.
